Creating a Supportive Home
Psychology-informed Feng Shui and mindful decluttering

Our living spaces have a profound impact on how we think, feel, and function. Over time, homes can quietly accumulate not just physical clutter, but emotional weight too — unfinished chapters, old identities, stress, and overwhelm.
This service brings together Marie Kondo–inspired mindful decluttering and Feng Shui principles, grounded in psychological understanding, to help you create a home that actively supports your wellbeing.
Rather than focusing on perfection or aesthetics, the emphasis is on intentional choice: what you keep, where things live, and how your environment can gently support calm, clarity, confidence, and change.
How this approach works
-
Mindful decluttering
We explore your relationship with your belongings and your space, helping you identify what truly supports the life you are living now — and the one you want to grow into. This process often mirrors psychological themes such as boundaries, transitions, identity, grief, and self-worth. -
Feng Shui for balance and flow
Feng Shui looks at how layout, light, colour, and placement influence energy, mood, and behaviour. Using these principles, we work to enhance areas of your home linked to rest, relationships, work, creativity, and emotional regulation — in ways that feel practical and grounded. -
A psychological lens throughout
As a Psychologist, I integrate evidence-based psychological thinking into every stage. This means we move at a pace that feels safe, reflective, and supportive, particularly during times of stress, burnout, menopause, life transition, or emotional overload.

-
Wanting their home to feel calmer, more nourishing, or more “them”

Is this therapy?
This service is not psychological therapy and does not involve the assessment or treatment of mental health conditions.
Although I am an HCPC-registered Psychologist, this work is offered within a separate scope of practice, focused on wellbeing, the home environment, and reflective support using Feng Shui principles and mindful decluttering approaches. Psychological knowledge may inform the way sessions are held, but no formal therapeutic intervention is provided.
This service is covered by appropriate professional insurance specific to Feng Shui and decluttering work. Where it becomes clear that psychological therapy would be more appropriate, this will be discussed openly so that the most suitable support can be identified.
