Should I go or should I stay?

Waiting for my boat to come
Unsure what it is I've done
Don't leave my song unfinished
Write the words, however long
And tell me what has gone so wrong
Don't leave the curtains tightly shut
Let the sun come flooding in
Just tell me if I cannot win
Don't leave me hanging by a thread
I cannot mend something torn
Unless I know it may be worn
Be truthful now while you can
Because honesty makes for a better man.....
